Cruise Itinerary

This Western Mediterranean Cruise with MSC Orchestra will include visits of the following ports in France, Spain and Italy.

  • Day 1 Genoa, Italy – Upon arrival at the port of Genoa, rest, check-in, and boarding the ship. The beginning of your unforgettable cruise begins in picturesque Genoa at 7 pm
  • Day 2 Marseille, France – Our first port is Marseille, the French pearl on the Mediterranean coast. We recommend a walk through the old port, a visit to the Mcem museum and enjoying the rich cultural heritage of this charming city.
  • Day 3 Tarragona, Spain – The City of Tarragona, situated on a 69-meter-high hill gently sloping over the sea, can be divided into three parts: the upper town or old town, which extends around the medieval city center, which itself was built over the Roman acropolis; the urban expansions built from the 19th century onward; and the maritime part of the city, which includes the port and the fishing district of El Serrallo.
  • Day 4 Valencia, Spain – Valencia is Spain’s third-largest city, characterized by a sunny Mediterranean climate, a mix of historic Gothic architecture and futuristic design, and a vibrant, relaxed coastal culture. Key features include the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the historic Ciutat Vella, sandy beaches, and being the birthplace of paella. It is a dynamic, sustainable city.
  • Day 5 Day at Sea Relax on board and enjoy all the facilities that the ship offers. Whether it’s the wellness center, sports facilities, swimming pool, or various restaurants, dedicate this day to relaxation and enjoying the luxurious surroundings.
  • Day 6 La Spezia, Italy – La Spezia is a strategic, Ligurian port city acting as the primary gateway to the Cinque Terre, characterized by a deep-rooted maritime heritage, a bustling naval base, and a scenic gulf known as the “Bay of Poets”. It blends industrial maritime activity with Art Nouveau architecture, vibrant pedestrian streets, and a mild Mediterranean climate.
  • Day 7 is planned for Civitavecchia, Italy. Perched on the shores of the Tyrrhenian Sea, Civitavecchia boasts a storied past intertwined with maritime adventures. As the gateway to Rome, its harbor has welcomed seafarers for centuries, echoing with tales of ancient civilizations and grand conquests.
  • Day 8 Genoa In the heart of Liguria lies Genoa, a city steeped in maritime lore and grandeur. Its famous history as a powerful maritime republic echoes through its labyrinthine streets and magnificent palazzos. The climate, with its mild Mediterranean breezes, sets the stage for idyllic exploration. Here, amidst the bustling port and vibrant piazzas, travelers can savor an authentic taste of Italy, away from the well-trodden tourist paths. Genoa’s culinary scene, renowned for its fresh seafood and aromatic pesto, tantalizes the senses and captivates the palate. Don’t miss the chance to explore the historic Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcasing Genoa’s enduring maritime legacy.
